Seeking undergraduate or post-Baccalaureate psychology interns pursuing a career in psychology or social work

Job Location: 1973 W. Main Street, Floor 1, Norristown, PA 19403

Qualifications:

    • Enrollment in Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or closely related fields of study.

    • Good interpersonal skills, a positive team-player attitude, organization, and flexibility are required

    • Understanding of DSM-V, confidentiality and HIPPA, and previous experience in mental health are a plus.

Behavioral Health Technician (Contractor)

Under the supervision the assigned IBHS Supervisor, the Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) is a member of an interdisciplinary team and carries out the interventions from the client’s approved Treatment Plan. The BHT works directly with the client while providing role modeling and support to the family/caretakers. The BHT helps to use the client’s strengths and designated interventions to build healthier, age-appropriate behavior of the child/youth while teaching caretakers to provide appropriate interventions to reduce and replace maladaptive behaviors with healthier, age-appropriate ones.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS ROLE:

Education and Experience; One of the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a human service-related field.

  • Bachelor's degree in a non-human service-related field with 1 year of direct care work with children.

  • Associate degree or 60 credits and 3 years documented direct care work with children.

  • PA License as a Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of direct care work with children, verified.

  • Have a high school diploma or the equivalent of a high school diploma and have completed a 40-hour training covering the RBT Task List as evidenced by a certification that includes the name of the responsible trainer, who is certified as a BCBA or BCaBA.

  • Completion of the required pre-hire TSS training requirements.

  • Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour (based on credentials and experience)

Behavioral Consultant/Mobile Therapist (Contractor)

Behavior Consultants provide behavioral intervention consultation to the treatment team. Behavioral Consultant services are designed to be consultative in nature with family, school and other caregivers in the child’s life, rather than direct service to the child or family. Mobile Therapy services are designed to provide one on one therapy to child across multiple settings while developing functional skills to help in their everyday lives. Telehealth may currently be utilized when appropriate.

Behavioral Consultant (BC) Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Provides weekly consultation and clinical intervention to the treatment team, family, and school.

  • Develops treatment plan goals and monitors client's progress towards goals across all settings, including conducting functional behavioral assessments.

  • Develops and implements specific behavior plans and interventions, including crisis plan.

  • Completes related clinical documentation (i.e. diagnostic tools, progress summary and progress notes).

  • Provides education and works to ensure continuity of care across all settings.

Mobile Therapist (MT) Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Provides clinical therapy and direct services to the client and family, including individual and family therapy.

  • Use variety of modalities to increase behavioral functioning.

  • Builds rapport with the client and assists the client in achieving treatment goals via skills building, positive reinforcement, and self-monitoring techniques.

  • Completes related clinical documentation (i.e. diagnostic tools, progress summary and progress notes).

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • A Master's Degree (or higher) in a mental health field.

  • Child Abuse Clearance, Criminal Background Check, FBI Clearance, Act 31 (Mandated Reporter Certification), and NSOR Clearance (National Sex Offender Registry).

  • Valid Driver's License.

  • A minimum of 1 Year of paid, full-time experience providing mental health direct services to children and young adults.

  • Pay: $27.00 - $43.00 per hour (based on credentials and experience)
